NSC NEWS
FROM CHARLES WHITEHEAD
NSC CENTRE
We have now signed an official extension of our lease by 12 months, bul subject to three months notice by either party. We are paying a higher rent during this ycar, but it's a good temporary solution for us.
Some of you will know that Sr. Mary Peter was knocked down by a car last autumn and quite badly hun She has made a steady recovery, resuming her work at the Centre step by step since January. She is now in fairly good shape again, apart from some difficulties with her right hand, and we are so grateful to have her wisdom and help once again. She and Winefride set up the centre back in the 1970's and have served the Re-newal there ever since. Long may the Lord provide their strength and desire to continue! I know Sr. Mary Peter would want me to offer her thanks to all those who prayed, wrote, and visited whilst she was recovering.

RENEWAL AND HOSPITALITY continued
"Look, I am Standing at the door, knocking" (Rev. 3: 20)
To be baptised in the Holy Spirit means to open wide the door of my heart and life to the Lord. It also means being Willing to give Him the keys to that door. Why? Because loving the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my strength, and with all my mind (Lk. 10:27) will be impossible unless I give Him everything: family, job, home, security - everything. He'11 take them - and He'll probably give them back to me. But nowthere'sadifference. Iam nolongertheowner • I am the Steward of all that He gives me. Now it's the Lord allowing me to live in His house - not me allowing Him into mine. So how am I going to react when the Lord gives the address of His house (in which I am living) to someone who needs me or my help? Some one He has chosen and sent -not someone I would have chosen. Suddenly His words "and love your neighbour as yourself' (Lk. 10:28) take on a whole new meaning!
