Kempten [antikvár]

Kempten ist eine mittelgrofle, kreisfreie Stadt mit rund 60.000 Einwohnern im bayerischen Regierungsbezirk Schwaben (Hauptstadt Augsburg) und die Metropole des Allgaus. Das Stadtwappen erinnert an die Geschichte der Doppelstadt": der Reichsadler steht für die ehemalige Freie Reichsstadt, der (rote) Turm auf (grünem) Berg für die ehemalige Fürstabtei mit Stadtrecht. Beide Kempten kamen durch den ReichsdeputationshauptschlufS von 1803 zum Kurfürstentum, wenig spáter Königreich Bayern und erhielten 1819 ihr neues gemeinsames Wappen. Stadtepartnerschaften bestehen mit Bad Dürkheim/Rheinland-Pfalz, Trient/ltalien, Quiberon/Frankreich, Sopron/Ungarn, Sligo/lrland; Kempten ist Namenspatronin einer Lufthansa-BoeBng. Kempten is a médium sized independent city with approximately 60.000 inhabitants in the Bavarian district of "Schwaben" (capital Augsburg), and the metropolis of the "Allgau". The city coat of arms reminds of the "double town": the Imperial eagle stands for the former independent Imperial City, the (red) tower on a (green) hill for the former Princely Abbey with city rights. By the resolution of the Imperial Plenary Assembly in 1803 both Kemptens were included into the electorate, later the kingdom of Bavaria and received their new coat of arms in 1819. Twin towns are: Bad Dürkheim/Rheinland-Pfalz, Trient/ltaly, Quiberon/ Francé, Sopron/Hungary, Sligo/lreland. Kempten sponsors the Lufthansa-Boeing 'Kempten'. Kempten est une ville moyenne, autonome de 60.000 habitants, appartenant á l'arrondissement bavarois de Souabe, (capitale Augsburg) et la métropole de l'Allgau. Les armoiriesde la ville rappellent l'histoire de la "double-ville": l'aigle impériale signifie qu'il s'agissait d'une ville libre impériale, la tour (rouge) sur la collíné (verte) signifie l'ancienne abbaye avec le droit de ville. Par la résolution de la députation impériale de 1803 les deux parties de Kempten venaient d'abord á l'électorat et peu aprés á la baviére. En 1819 elles recevaient en commun leurs armoiries de ville. Jumelages existes avec Bad Dürkheim/Rhénanie-Palotinat.Trient/ltalie, Quiberon/France, Sopron/Hongrie et Sligo/lrlande. Kempten est aussi parraine pour un boeing de la Lufthansa.
