Over Ground, under Ground [antikvár]

Dear reader,we know: humán fantasy is infinite. Everybody has dreamt of being able to fly or becoming invisible and possessing a power that defies physical laws. My favourite hidden capacity is, beside the above ones, travelling in time, be it into the past or into the future. And behold! This was given to the inhabitants of Dombóvár in the summer of 2007, at least in respect of the past.The news that something interesting had surfaced at the construction of a hypermar-ket quickly spread, and in a few days, the deserted area bustled with people dressed in yeilowish green jackets. I feel a shiver at the word bustle, since the uncovered objects, the traces of buildings and the humán remains evidence death and anni-hilation. Yet the archaeologists/ work has restored the finds to life, and they have started speaking through the voices of the researchers.Who knows how many generations, tribes and families lived here their happy or unhappy lives, a life that may seem simple and atrocious to us but that was natural for them? The layers deposited over one another have shrunk time. The traces of 25 thousand years of humán life settled in the 8 m thick rock and earth. I have read many settlement monographs, which started with the words: "Our town/village has been inhabited since prehistoric times /, This publication is special and unique because it does not just teli data but uses a unique methodology to ans-wer the question in what form and how the Konda valley was inhabited. The follo-wing pages offer answers, knowledge and information, and by the time we have fi-nished, we must feel deep inside us the rising of respect.
