It has been arranged the biggest Acoustical Congress up till now, in Budapest, with 1800 attendants and 800 contributed papers.Organizing the Congress went through only with great effort, but it has been tried to arrange the meating smoothly. How did it succeed , you will decide it.I hope that all of you will gain experiences of the Congress Papers, of the Round Table Conferences and of the Exhibition. Mit 1800 Teilnehmern und 800 angenommenen Vorträgen ist der Budapester Kongress der grösste der am Gebiet der Akustik je organisiert wurde.Im Laufe der Organisation haben wir natürlich grosse Schwierigkeiten gehabt, doch haben wir unser möglichstes getan, um dem Kongress einen optimalen Ablauf zuzusichern.Ich hoffe, dass die Vorträge, die Diskussionen und die Ausstellung Ihnen Gelegenheit bieten werden, ihre Fachkenntnisse zu vertiefen.
