Such information is given for guidance only and should be confirmed by examination prior to the sale. Photo lots cannot be returned for reasons of margins, centring or condition of perforations. The illustrations are an integrál part of the description. (Approximate counts are indicated by ).3.V.A.T.Buyers resident in the United Kingdom or taking delivery of lots at the auction will be liable to pay V.A.T. at the standard rate on those marked with the symbol "T" in the catalogue. Overseas buyers are exempt from paying V.A.T. if the lots are posted to an address outside the U.K. All buyers will be liable to pay V.A.T. on the prémium.4. ExtensionsProspective buyers who wish to obtain an expert opinion on any lot (other than a mixed lot or lot containing undescribed stamps) are requested to notify Christie's-Robson Lowe in writing not less than twenty-four hours before the time fixed for the commencement of the first session of the sale. If accepted by Christie's-Robson Lowe, such request shall have the same effect as notice of an intention to question the genuineness or description of the lot within seven (or fourteen as the case may be) days after the sale for the purposes of Clause 6(b) (i) of the Conditions of Sale; Clause 6 shall thereafter apply accordingly.Notice of a request for an expert opinion must give the reason why such is required and specify the identity of the expert which will be subject to the agreement of Christie's-Robson Lowe.Extensions requested on account of condition will not normally be accepted for expert opinions to be secured unless, in the opinion of Christie's-Robson Lowe, a defect is present and not described.Should Christie's-Robson Lowe accept a request for an extension under the foregoing provisions of this paragraph, the fact may be stated by the Auctioneer from the rostrum prior to the sale of the lot.5.Export LicencesAn export licence may have to be obtained for documents or manuscripts if they are bought by an overseas resident.6.Viewing ArrangementsLots will be on view at 8 King Street:Thursday 4 June and Friday 5 June 1987 10.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.Monday 8 June 1987 10.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.Lots of a suitable size can be sent through the post for inspection, postage and insurance both ways to be borne by the client.
