This is number three in the Planeta series of photo albums, the first two (Phofo-70 and Phoio-71) setting the pace and showing what could be done.Photography in practice, with its tremendous scope and rapid development, has long since put an end to the noisy theorizing about whether photographic art is true art or merely an imitation, dependent or independent, mass produced or something genuinely original.Today photography as an art has a muse of its own and not only in theory, witness the huge photo shows, illustrated publications in giant editions, and perhaps most Important, the growth of amateur photography to mass proportions.Having gained wide recognition, photographic art and photo journalism can now forge ahead with bold experiments, "invading" what used to be considered the territory of the other arts, subtle poetic expression and deep psychological probes, sincere as a personal confession or full of mischievous fun.The broader the interests of our photo journalists and amateurs, the greater the variety of colours, manners and styles, in other words, the better the art of photography gets to know itself and its own potential, the greater the need for bringing some sort of order into the mass of existing material, picking out the main ingredients and setting up clear-cut standards. This is not an easy job. It presupposes a goodly amount of research, some specialized exhibitions and a lot of discussion.Le présent album est le troisieme de la série des recueils de photo.
