With the second edition of T/iree Dimensional Structure of Wood already out of print we are glad to present a English - Hungarian dual language edition of the book. We have modified the original text where the reviewers of the original book had made any justifiable criticism, and also updated and reindexed plant names thathave changed stnce the last edition. like its earlier editions, A fatest háromdimenziós szerkezete is intended primarily as a teaching aid for students of wood science, forestry, and botany at universities and technical colleges. However, we hope Üiat it will also find its way onto bookshelves of many wood research scientists and engineers as a source of additional inlbimation on the complexity and variability of one of the world's most important renewable resources.
