Musikethnologischen Sympo-sions über Probleme der Musices Aptatio" in Zentral- und Ostafrika im ersten Jahrbuch 1980 des Institutes für hymnologische und musikethnologische Stu-dien" im Haus der Kirchenmusik in Maria Laach erscheinen, werden hiermit in MSM No. 2/1980 das an den KongreB gerichtete Breve Jubilari feliciter" unseres Hl. Skeris (englisch), und M.elle Simoné Wallon (französisch) herzlicher Dank gesagt.Der HerausgeberFOREWORDThe bulletin of information MUSICAE SACRAE MINISTERIUM (MSM) published in its issue no. 1/1980 the musical and scientific program of the Seventh International Church Music Congress held at Cologne, Bonn and Maria Laach from 20/26 June 1980. Within the framework of this Congress, the Second Ethnomusicological Symposium was alsó held, and the scientific papers read there on the problems of "Musices Aptatio" in East and Central Africa are published in the first (1980) yearbook of the "Institute for hymnological and ethnomusicological studies" at Church Music House in Maria Laach.In MSM no. 2/1980 we herewith present to our members, friends and other interested persons the apostolié breve "Jubilari feliciter" addressed to the Congress by our Holy Father, Popé John Paul II, the sermons and public addresses delivered during the Congress, and the minutes of the generál meeting of the C.I.M.S. membership.
