It was an important historical stage along the road of the great liberation movement of all mankind. We acclaim your glorious revolution not only because it liberated the Bulgarian working people from monarcho-fascist oppression, but also because it was a valuable contribution of the Bulgarian people to the joint struggle for the socialist ideals in the whole world.The socialist revolution in Bulgaria was prepared by the entire course of the prolonged revolutionary movement of the working people in Bulgaria against capitalism and fascism. Under the leadership of the Communist Party, which was headed by one of the leaders of the international communist movement, the ardent revolutionary Georgi Dimitrov, the workers and peasants with their struggle shook the decaying edifice of the monarcho-fascist system more and inore from day to day. And when the fatal hour set in, an extensive guerrilla movement developed in the country and a national-liberation army was set up which dealt blows to the nazi invaders.
