.ow can a pig be gallant? When gallant means "polite" and "brave" and the pig is Babe, anything is possible. The animals at the Hogget farm think that a pig is a pig, a sheep is a sheep, a dog is a dog. With Babe's arrival, things begin to change. The animals aren't the only ones affected by Babe's presence, though. Life for the Hoggets is never quite the same after Babe moves into the barnyard.
