Bővebb ismertető
WELCOME to the British Museum. It is, as you can see, an enormous place, and many people visiting it for the first time find it a little daunting. But though we can't make the Museum any smaller, we can make it easier to understand; and that is the real purpose of this guide. We know your time is limited, and we can't hope to show you everything; but if you can spare just half a day - a full morning or afternoon, say two and a half to three hours altogether - we can at least make sure that you see most of the real stars of the collection. We have divided these into two tours; the first, based on the ground floor, covers the Ancient World; the second explores somé of the upstairs galleries and looks at the development of the Western World.
