INTRODUCTION
The tenth issue of the Central European Political Science Review
treats the topic of The Process of Stabilization of Democracy in Central Europe and in Europe. When choosing this title, we regarded these tenth issues as closely related, for the changes that occur are the consequences of their inter-relatedness. Our aim is to examine from many angles the relationship between the behaviour of civil society, institutional regulation and the stabilization of democracy in different part of the New Europe.
The No. 10 of CESPR contains both theoretical and empirical articles as well as international comparative and case studies. Aiming at giving a complex picture, we selected studies from several different countries, from Southern to Central Europe.
One of the conference reports is the one about the annual Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA) Meeting, 2002 in PIzen, in which political scientists from Central Europe took part as presenters and listeners.
Our next number - No.11 - will dealing with the role of the media in the New Europe and then the No. 12. with the political parties, radical movements and extremism in the New Europe. The editors of CEPSR welcome articles, conference reports and book reviews for publication, which focus on Central Europe of have message for the region.
Editor
