Tim Gallwey must undoubtedly head the list, as the creator of the Inner Game, followed in chronological order by Bob Kriegel, Sarah Ferguson, Graham Alexander, Alan Fine, Caroline Harris, Chris Morgan, Miles Downey and Peter Lightfoot, who all started as Inner Game sports coaches and who have since applied their coaching skills in business with great effect. I would recommend each of them as excellent coaches, along with Drs Alan Beggs and Lew Hardy who also provided academic respectability to Inner Game ideas, which encouraged us when rejection by traditionalists was widely available. I am especially grateful to my two longstanding coaching colleagues, David Hemery and David Whitaker, with whom I have taught countless courses and shared creative ideas.
