Publisher's Notice All the Mozart Piano Concertos, as far as they had been published in this collection up to 1935, had still been revised from the autograph MSS. and provided with a foreword before the war by Friedrich Blume. Unfortunately however the two works K.V.271 and K.V.459 could not be printed in time, and by misfortune both forewords and the music text of K.459 were lost, during the war. The results of the revision of K.271 however, were preserved and could be used. For technical reasons the editor's desire to indicate the ground bass, which was entered by Mozart himself into the solo-part, could not be fulfilled. The bass figuration of the first edition of K.V.271 is omitted here, as the concensus of expert opinion is that this is not from Mozart's own pen. Bemerkung der Verlagshandlung Alle Klavier-Konzerte Mozarts, so weit bis 1935 in dieser Sammlung erschienen, wurden noch vor dem Kriege von Friedrich Blume nach den Autographen revidiert und mit einem Vorwort verschen. Leider konnten aber die beiden Werke K.271 und 459 nicht rechtzeitig gedruckt werden ; und das Unglück hat gewollt, dass von beiden die Vorworte, von K.459 anch der Notentext, durch Kriegshandlung verloren wurden, wahrend die Ergebnisse der Revision des Notentextes von K.271 erhalten blieben und benutzt werden kormten. Aus technischen Gründen konnte der Wunsch des Herausgebers nicht erfüllt werden, den von Mozart selbst in die Solostimme eingezeichneten Generalbass anzugeben. Die in der Erstausgabe von K.271 erscheinende Bass-Bezifferung ist hier weggelassen worden, da sie nach übereinstimmender Annahme aller Fachleute nicht von Mozart selbst stammt.
