"Differentiating Spatial Structures in the Central-European Region" [antikvár]

Introduction As five years ago, on behalf of the editors of the conference book - beyond the active and outstanding participation - we would üke to present our appreciation for sending us the lectures of excellent standards, so giving us an opportunity to publish them. As all of us know, our cooperation dates back for decades in the past among the departments and insritutes of the Universiries of Bayreuth, Graz, Plzeri, Bratislava, Maribor and Pécs. So far it proved to be a very useful and instructive cooperation and we believe it will further be as weil. As every year we look for a new topic and place it to the centre of the given conference, the present conference dealt with "Differentiating Spatial Structures in the Central-E-uropean Region". In accordance with the topic we chose a small South Transdanubian town, Harkány as the location of the conference, representing the rural areas of the country with significant tourism background. We really hope that the field trip to Pécs - soon the European Capital of Culture - alsó served as a useful occasion to experience and to exchange the views with the colleagues.
