THE HUNGÁRIÁN CHAMBER OF COMMERCEAmong the 479 member enterprises of the Hungárián Chamber of Commerce we find enterprises that are engaged exelusively in foreign trade, produeing enterprisessomé of which are authorized to export and/or to importas well as servicing and other enterprises. Membership is mandatory for the foreign trade enterprises and for those which are authorized to export and/or to import, while the rest of the enterprises (three quarters of the membership) have joined the Chamber voluntarily. The member enterprises account for 85 per cent of totál Hungárián exports.The Chamber's activities are directed by an elected Presidential Board, the members of which are directors of the largest Hungárián companies. A significant part of these activities is carried out by the Chamber's var-ious bodies.
