Introduction You-walking, running, or resting —are a store of energy. The earth moving through space has energy, both inside and outside itself. The moon has energy. The moon revolves around the earth; the earth revolves around the sun; the sun moves through space around some foci in our galaxy; the galaxy itself is in continuous motion. The sun is an unimaginable vast powerhouse that directly or indirectly affects everything we do. Within the sun, energy changes are taking place that send speeding particles and radiation in all directions from its surface. The earth is bombarded on the outside and is in constant action on the inside, and man is a part of the vast system of energy. He takes from the earth and gives to it. Everywhere there is energy. Energy comes in many forms. It may rest quietly in a lump of coal or rage unchecked in a forest fire. O It is found in the
