To the TeacherThis book is intended for pupils who are in their third year of learning English as a foreign language, but there are no doubt somé classes which could use it in their second year of study, after finishing Book One.It will probably be necessary, as in Book One, for the teacher to translate into the pupils' language somé of the explanations and somé of the instructions on how to do exercises. But English should be used increasingly for these purposes.As in Book One alsó, the pupils' chief profit will come from a full understanding of the examples and an ability to do the exercises with a full understanding of their meaning.L.R.H.C.
