Dear Reader, Do you know what a Quickie is? - Well, just about anything you can do, have orenjoy quickly and within a short time. One could say a Quickie is the contrary to a full-length programme, an all-in treatment with extrás, a complete course or a great somebody 's collected works. I found the Quickies contained in this book in English newspapers, tucked away in the odd column, among readers* letters or advertisements or splashed across the front page.
