There are twenty-five Sections in the book, each divided into Part A and Part B. Part A. (Here again the length can be varied. Should the essay given prove quite unsuitable, an alternative can be taken from additional list at the end.) Part B. The extracts in Part B are from a wide rangé of wellknown authors (sixteenth century to the present day), a list of whom is given at the end. Exercises on these passages are: 1.A précis.
