Bővebb ismertető
Editorial This is the first of what we plan to be an annual special issue of the EAESP Bulletin. There has been a rapid growth in the Association's activities and sponsoring of meetings. Organisers of all meetings supported by EAESP are required to provide reports and abstracts. We (the editors) thought it would be good to capitalise on all this work by providing a further benefit to all members (not just participants in the meetings). The Executive Committee supported our proposal that it would be valuable to publish the proceedings of the meetings formally on an annual basis. This will provide a published record that the presentations were given. We will alsó be exploring the possibility that Psych-Info may include these in their listings. Scientific meetings are often the places where new ideas are first aired. Publishing the abstracts of our meetings provides a useful record of the time and context in which these ideas emerged. We alsó hope that the abstracts will serve a useful reference function and a way that members can find out what is happening currently in European social psychology. F ina Ily, you will notice that this special issue is printed in the same size and formát as other issues of the Bulletin, and this is to facilitate storage, ease of reference, and binding by libraries.
