The Facts
I GOT UP at dawn to turn on the TV set. Josephine stared at me as if I was some kind of a nut. It was February 20, 1962. Colonel John Glenn hurtled into space and the nation held its breath and kept a marathon vigil. Josephine merely gave it a fast glance, yawned, and went back to sleep.
Because Josephine knows it's all a waste of time, money, and effort. Another country can't harm us. Getting into space won't help us. Because we are already doomed—soon to be enslaved by the new Master Race. And Josephine is a card-carrying member of this Master Race—^the Master Race that is slowly conquering us all and will soon inherit the earth.
Small wonder that Josephine and her fellow members sit idly by and allow us to tinker with rockets and atom bombs. Josephine knows it takes more than bombs and rockets to conquer. The Master Race is equipped with a superior intelligence. They conquer with love and affection.
At this very moment they are infiltrating into every large city in the United States and Europe. A few have even slipped behind the Iron Curtain.
They appear in diplomatic drawing rooms, eavesdrop on top-secret conferences, and it is openly whispered in Washington that one, a raven-haired beauty, often shares the boudoir of a weU-known senator.
So forget the bomb . . . the race for space. It's too late. We've all been taken. I know I have. And the odd
