THE LITTLE POLICEMAN George had a lovely present on his eighth birthday. It was a policeman's uniform! It was small, just made to fit him, and the helmet was marvellous. George was very proud of it. It came in a big box, and George took out the pieces of the uniform one by one. There was the coat with buttons down the front, the trousers, and a belt.
