FOREWORD
Atlantic City, the crown jewel of the New Jersey Shore, draws crowds from all over the country with its beachside casinos and top-name entertainment. And it's not the shore's only resort; each beach town attracts its own clientele with a distinct atmosphere and individual charm. There are big, noisy boardwalks and quiet stretches of sand; neon motels from the 50s and 60s and restored Victorian bed-and-breakfasts; rock and roll bars and elegant restaurants. As long as your tastes don't run to deserted beaches, you'll find a perfect summer sun spot at the Jersey Shore.
