Bővebb ismertető
In 1969 as a successful businessman and new Christian, Warren Hardig visited OMS International mission work in Haiti. There, on a mountain trail, a Haitian beggar dressed in rags dropped to his knees, urging Warren to "make him a Christian." This God-directed event became the catalyst that caused him to become an OMS missionary. Convinced by this experience that lay participation in missions is essential, he left his business in 1973 to accept a full-time position with Men For Missions International, the Laymen's Voice of OMS International. As central regional director of MFM for more than eight years, Warren directed MFM activities over a 14-state area. Organizing laymen into councils, he then accompanied them as they observed and participated in OMS mission projects in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. In 1983, following a year as national director of Men For Missions in the United States, Warren became the movement's international director. In this capacity he gives overall direction to worldwide MFM activities, and is the coordinating link between MFM and OMS. Warren and his wife, Velma, have two children, Roger and Renee.
