Mozart schrieb die beiden Klavier- konzerte in A dur (Nr. 23) und in C moll (Nr. 24 der Gesamtausgabe) kurz nacheinander für seine Sub- skriptionskonzerte in Wien in der Fastenzeit 1786, Das A dur-Konzert war am 2. März dieses Jahres voll- endet. Mozart wrote the two Piano Concertos, A major and C minor (Nos. 23 and 24, respectively, of the Collective edition) in close succession ; they were intended for the subscription concerts conducted by him at Vienna during the Lenten season, 1786. The A major Concerto was completed on March 2 of that year. Mozart composa les deux con- certos pour piano en La majeur (No. 23) et en Ut mineur (No. 24 de Pédition complete) en rapide succession pour ses concerts de souscription a Vienne pendant le careme 1786. Le concerto en La majeur fut terminé le 2 mars de la meme année.
