Bővebb ismertető
Although the programmes are primarily for use in language laboratories, they are so constructed as to be suitable for frontal auditive teaching. In this case it is important that the teacher prepares the class in advance and supervises it closely during work with the programme. The answer phases may be delegated to individual pupils or spoken in chorus, in which case the teacher should make sure that the choral speaking is well drilled and synchronous. The audio-active drills are all four-phase exercises, the second and' fourth phases being for pupils' responses. The fourth phase is always a reinforcement of the previous correct answer, according to the spoken pattern. It goes without saying that all the announcers in these programmes are native English speakers. Their pace of speaking is natural, neither artificially slow nor artificially modulated.
