Guided Composition: Don't show off!
Sandy and Sue have new roller-skates, but they can't skate yet. They tried to skate yesterday, but they both fell down. Then Sue saw Alan Blake. Alan was on his bicycle. "Here comes Alan Blake," she said. "He's showing off as usual."
Alan saw them on the ground and laughed. "Can't you skate yet?" he asked. "I can skate. It's easy." "Would you like to borrow my skates?" Sue asked. "I'd love to," Alan said.
Sue lent hirn her skates and he put them on. Then he tried to skate but he fell down and hurt himself. "It serves you right," Sue said. "Show off!" Sandy said.
