PREFACE MGM - Magyar Gördülőcsapágy Művek - Hungarian Rolling Bearing Works is the only firm in Hungary that has become specialized in the production of rolling bearings, and has more than 35 years of manufacturing experience behind it. The Head Office and production centre is at the town of Debrecen, in the East of Hungary. The Directing Management is alsó found here. Smaller production plants are in Diósd - near the capital - and in Balmazújváros. More than 5000 people are employed by the factory. Commercial business is conducted through the Commercial Centre in Budapest. A natural duty of MGM is to meet the requirements of inland consumers, however MGM products are exported to more than 50 countries around the world. It is always an important task for MGM to keep in line with leading bearing manufacturers all over the world, therefore MGM always takes good care of the continuous development of its products and their quality. During the last years, MGM has greatly enlarged the production of basic bearing types, and the number of constructional and accuracy variants. MGM could raise significantly the level of production technology, the quality level of its products, by the application of new up-to-date machines and machine lines and specialized bearing industry machines and equipment of MGM construction. MGM considers its main task to fulfill the requirements of its customers with a wide variety of products quickly, in appropriate quantity, and manufactured with high accuracy. MGM undertakes to manufacture special bearings within the boundary dimension rangé of its production equipment in accordance with special requests from the customers. MGM has developed a great number of special machines and equipment which can be used alsó in other fields of mass production, primarily in industrial sectors manufacturing bodies of revolution shaped products.
