Old Lithuanian Texts of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries with a Glossary [antikvár]

Preface The present small edition of Old Lithuanian texts was prepared for my one-quarter course, Introduction to Baltic Linguistics, at Northwestern University. I have attempted to keep this edition limited in size and thus have not included selections from all the important Old Lithuanian writers and works. If additional texts are desired, they will be found in the following books: Alfréd Senn, Handbuch der litauischen Sprache, II (Heidelberg, 1957), which contains a useful LithuanianGerman-English glossary; August Leskien, Litauisches Lesebuch (Heidelberg, 1919); Jurgis Gerullis, Senieji Lietuviti Skaitymai (Kaunas, 1927); Jan Otr?bski, Teksty Litewskie, I (Warsaw, 1957).
