Bővebb ismertető
ON WE GO is a multi-media English course designed for young near-beginners. It consists of thirty radio and televisión units which tell the story of four young English people who live in London. They are involved in a series of amusing incidents. Thirty radio drill programmes accompany the sketches.
The Coursebook
Each chapter in this coursebook begins with a script extract, taken from the first part of the radio and télévision programmes. This is followed by questions which test compréhension of the extract. A number of exercises then follow which allow the pupil to practise the language points of each unit.
The coursebook chapters normally end by suggesting a language game. There is also a simple prose summary of what happens in the second part of the radio and télévision programmes.
Recordings
Recordings of the script extracts that begin each chapter have been published by the BBC.
Teachers' Notes
Teachers' Notes have been prepared by the BBC to accompany this course. They suggest how to use the programmes and coursebook, give possible answers to exercises and suggestions for classroom follow-up.
Linguistic and Pedagogie Basis
The structural progression for the course is given in the Teachers' Notes. It was worked out by an international team of linguistic and pedagogie specialists led by John Trim, Director of the Linguistics Department, University of Cambridge.
