Foreword The present volume contains 55 papers, presented on the sixth Symposium ofAER, held in Kirkkonummi, Finland, 23 - 26 September 1996. The papers are presented in their originál form, i.e. no corrections or modifications were carried out. The content of this volume is divided into thematic groups: Reactor Dynamics and Safety Analyses, Kinetic Data, Dynamic Codes, Spectral and Core Calculations, Criticality, Spent Fuel, Decommissioning, Core Calculations, Reactor Operation, Core Monitoring, Fuel Management and Design - according to the preséntation sequence on the Symposium.
