How to use the Proficiency Testbuilder
Teachers and Students who have the edition with key can use the book in these ways:
• Simply follow the instructions
Clear directions are given as to the order in which to do things, enabling you to work through the book page by page. If you do this, you:
1 Complete the whole of or a section of each Paper, perhaps under exam conditions.
2 Complete the Further Practice and Guidance page or pages which follow this.
3 Return to the relevant part of the test and check, and possibly change, the answers given, as a result of what has been learned from doing the Further Practice.
• Vary the order
You may wish to do some of the Further Practice and Guidance pages before answering the questions to which they apply or immediately after them, rather than completing the whole paper or section first. In addition, teachers may wish to do the Further Practice and Guidance pages as discussion or painwork, or ask students to prepare them before class.
