Preface The field of pediatric endocrinology has become a rapidly moving area of research. In the five years since the first symposium was held on Recent Progress in Pediatric Endocrinology, many new and major advances have been made in the field. This volume presents state of the art information, providing a useful overview of new basic data and of the available therapeutic possibilities.
