Regio 1998 [antikvár]

The editors of REGIO are grateful to the Commission of the European Union for making the publication of a new English-language version of the review possible after a three year period of silence. This issue consists of studies which were previously published in 1995-1998 as weil as somé written for this specific issue. Thus, in the meantime the editors of REGIO have attempted to broaden the publication's perspective through the inclusion of comparative studies in the relevant fields with the addition of a major topic of interest: integration of this region into Europe. This new perspective is alsó reflected in the publications new subtitle: Minorities, Communities, Society. It is our hope that all studies included will significantly contribute to our understanding of these particular fields of research.
