PETŐ HUNOR Munkácsy-díjas képzőművész 1968-ban született Baróton, Budapesten él. 1995-ben végzett a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem szobrász szakán. Számos műfajban alkot, a penészművektől kezdve a fotómontázson, az installáción keresztül a köztéri szobrászatig. Jelen munkáiban a műfajok közötti átjárhatóságra úgy helyez hangsúlyt, hogy köztéri szobrait beolvasztja a rekonstrukciós folyamatba. Born in 1968 in Baraolt (Romania), HUNOR PETŐ lives in Budapest. He completed his studies at the Sculpture Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1995. In 2014 he was awarded the Munkácsy Award for art. Hunor Pető works across a wide range of media from mildew works through photo montage and installation to public sculpture. In the present works he underlines the permeability of art forms by blending public statues into a process of reconstruction.
