Research and Development in the Hungarian Cable Works 1982 [antikvár]

Dear Reader On receiving the present issue of the R/D Technical Journal published yearly I have the honour to welcome our Reader. The research-development activity, the thorough technical grounding, the production structure of the Hungarian Cable Works representing the Hungarian cable industry are wellknown at an ever wider and wider domain and it is determinating in many fields. One objective of our Journal published regularly is to present some current spheres of the comprehensive research-development work carried on in the interest of technical progress and to review the modern technologies and products of the cable industry. In our 1982 issue the Reader obtains an insight into the main types and parameters of the products of the up-to-date medium and high voltage cable production in the Hungarian Cable Works. In connection with the above subjects, we give information on some particular matters of the high voltage test-room being constructed for developing high voltage cables. The present issue offers an opportunity to the Reader to learn about the practical achievements of development regarding the fully-filled, plastic insulated telecommunication cables. The other articles give some technical information of the scientific works of the research-development community of the Hungarian Cable Works contributing to the improvement of the qualitative characteristics of our products and to their up-to-dateness and competitiveness. I am confident that the technical information published in the present issue promote the knowledge of the modern technical level of the Hungarian Cable Works in such a domain, too, where there has been no opportunity for personal experience so far. In the spirit of this conception I am very much obliged to our Reader for his honouring interest.
