Bővebb ismertető
The Say What You Mean in English series teaches the learner to communicate in English, even from the most elementary level. Embodying the notional/functional approach to language learning it gives meaning the highest priority and allows grammar to take a secondary, though organised, place. This avoids much of the frustration experienced by students faced with the need to talk to people they meet in an English-speaking environment but held back by a purely grammar-based approach. Book 2 takes account of the thinking expressed in the Council of Europe's 'Threshold Level' document, and also of the requirements of the Oral Examinations of the Association of Recognised English Language Schools. Building on the material presented in Book 1, it aims to increase comprehension and fluency in using English socially.
