Sikonda-Komló [antikvár]

The rnining town of the Mecsek and the popular excursion place are today almost joined together by the rows of week-end houses connecting them. The modern housing quarters, the shopping centers, hotels and restaurants, the public institutions of Komló, and in the summer season, Sikonda's tourist hostel, its Camping's vacation houses, restaurants and the lido await the guests. Sikonda nestles amidst forest-clad hills and meadows, its main asset being the pure mountain air, the silence and peace ruling here and of course the opportunity to bathe, relax and rest. Those spending several days here can make excursions to the nearby 17th century castle of Máré (17 kms.), to the 12th century romanesque church of mánfa (10 kms.), or to the lido of Magyarhertelend (14 kms.). Of course the 2000 yrs. old city of Pécs with its Román and Turkish relics alsó attracts many tourists.
