FOREWORD FROM THE PUBLISHER The 1945 August General Insurrection is seen as not only a splendid symbol of Viet Nam's strength, spirit, will and brainpower but also the crystallization of a steadfast and undaunted fighting tradition of our nation, which has a history of thousands of years fighting against foreign invasion.
