EditorialSome on our long-time readers of The Australasian Ufologist Magazine may be aware of our involvement in publishing articles by Rex Gilroy regarding Ancient Civilisations and the evidence he has found and how he states the Aboriginals weren't the first to inhabit this continent called Australia. Rex has over 30 years of archeological evidence of which our present day Archeologists refuse to acknowledge their existence. Now how can they say Rex was wrong, with this new find in Far North Queensland by Mr Val Osbom in Sarina, just fifteen minutes fi-om Mackay. Mr Osbom wife said her son called his father after picking up a magazine with one of Rex's articles in it, and said: "hey dad you might be on to something". Since the story hit the news that night Mrs Osbom said their telephone has been mnning hot with people wanting to relay their story of what they to havefound. Mrs Osbom said a lady rang from Gympie to say she too had evidence of an ancient civilisation which she found near Gympie.Emma AUFORN rep. had faxed a Newspaper article to me with the heading "Phoenician find Makes Textbooks" and written by Ali Lawlor. Dated 20th July 2000 the article mentions: "A University of Queensland senior archeology lecturer Dr Tom Loy who is quoted as saying: "the Phoenicians were sea traders but they operated almost entirely within the Mediterranean ".Well I guess they travelled a lot further than he and his colleagues thought, and this is what Rex has been saying for many years.Mr Val Osborn is also quoted saying: "that this site pre-dates the Dutch coming to Australia therefore the Phoenicians discovered A ustralia ".leave Captain James Cook? The reason for my comments on this subject is because I know how very passionate Rex is about getting the word out about what he has found. I hope Val Osbom documents everything he has found, takes photos and gets receipts for everything handed over. We are all aware of how evidence has a habit of going missing.Maybe, one day, we us all will be able to get the proof that we are looking for and that alien technology does exist! That beings from another world have been visiting earth! I hope us Ufologists will continue on with our research because one day, we might stumble onto the tind of the century.Good on you Val and Rex. Keep up the great work. Change History if you can.Well if this is tme, where does that Happy Reading
