The Germán Democratic Republic is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of its foundation. Filled with pride, the citizens of our country look back on two decades of peaceable socialist construction. During this time our Republic has made many friends abroad as the result of its policy aiming at peace, co-operation based on equal rights and détente, by its determined turning away from the fascist past.
