INTRODUCTION In my piacement year I have been working for an international advertising agnecy, Euró RSCG Havasi in Budapest, which is part of the French Network , Euró RSCG. I have worked as an account executive with Procter & Gamble. The brand I had responsibility of was Old Spice. Through this eleven months, I got to know more and more about this field and I find it very interesting and challenging. My work was manyfold: primarily I was responsible for day to day activities in setting up an advertising campaign and producing the required materials for it. This includes participating in meetings, daily correspondace with clients and sub-contractors, putting together presentation materials and cost estimates for production. Therefore, it is basically a coordinating job. Advertising has only been existing in a professional way in Hungary for approximately four years. Therefore, it is not easy to satisfy so-called Western needs. Working with Procter & Gamble was not an easy job either but it was alsó the best training I could get. This project deals with a special case which is related to an already existing product's relaunch. The company is Citroen which is a very well known French car producer. The problem lies in the relatively late arrival of the brand in the Hungárián markét. The reason I chose this subject is because it is very much different from any of those I have met during this practice year.
