Dormant volcanoes suddenly roared to life, shrouding the land with smoke, fire, and lava, while the vicious shock waves of a killer earthquake relentlessly rocked the island. Puerto Rico started to break up under the force of nature's awesome doers of destruction. Giant chasms, their pits lined with boiling lava, opened up as the earth cleaved apart.
