Bővebb ismertető
In a paddy field, there stood a scarecrow made of bamboo and rice-straw, wearing a shabby basket on his head and holding a ragged fan in one hand. He was planted at the edge of the field, where he stood day and night.
The scarecrow was devoted to his duty, and stood there ramrod-straight every day, waving his ragged fan softly to brush away those sparrows who came to peck at the ears of rice.
