THEATERSCHRIFT Editorial Editorial Im Zeitraum von vier Jahren wurden zehn Ausgaben von theaterschrift realisiert. Aus einer anfänglichen Initiative von fünf Theatern erwuchs eine Zusammenarbeit mit neun Partnern. Zum Theater am Turm (Frankfurt), den Wiener Festwochen (Wien), Felix Meritis (Amsterdam), dem Kaaitheater (Brüssel) und dem Hebbel-Theater (Berlin) gesellten sich im Laufe der Zeit Marstall (München), Kampnagel (Hamburg), Atem (Nanterre) und ICA (London). Von den zehn herausgegebenen Nummern war Nr. 5/6 eine Doppelnummer über Dramaturgie. Das ist nicht außergewöhnlich, denn Dramaturgie war immer das Herz der Bücherreihe; mindestens jener dramaturgische Aspekt, der versucht, den 'Diskurs' der Künstler klar in Worte zu fassen und zu verbreiten. theaterschrift ist ein Projekt. The initiators, Theater Am Turm in Frankfurt, Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, Felix Meritis in Amsterdam, Kaaitheater in Brussels and Hebbel-Theater in Berlin, have over the years been joined by Marstall in Munich, Kampnagel in Hamburg, Atem in Nanterre and the ICA in London. Ten issues have been published, 5/6 being a joint issue on dramaturgy. There is nothing exceptional about that, since, after all, dramaturgy lies at the heart of the series. Or, at least, that aspect of it where the attempt is made to express clearly and circulate widely the artist's 'discourse', theaterschrift is a project.
