The history of Zagreb can stili be feit if you wander in the streets of the old Upper Town, they stili seem to be steeped in it.

Gr ade c a settlement of skilied craftsmen and merchants. The name Kaptol was first recorded in 1094 when it was raised to a bishopric. Zagreb was declared a royal, free city more than seven hundred years ago by King Bela TV.
The Old Town streets have preserved the atmosphere of a medieval town centre like few other cities in Europe, yet have managed to incorporate a romantic charm of the present into them.
