More and more sports centres are going up, ever more people are using the jogging tracks, the public cycle network is highly popular and mass sporting events are everyday occurrences.Professional sportsmen and women, too, find a worthy host in Budapest. In 2013, we organized wrestling, fencing and division I ice hockey worid championships. In 2017, Budapest gives home to the World Aquatics Championships and the finest in judo will put their skills to the test here as well. The capital of Hungary has already proved that it is capable of organizing global competitions to a world standard. This sporting dynamism also permeates into urban developments: Ferenc Puskás Stadium is being renewed, the Dagály Swimming Arena is under construction, and parallel with this the transport network and infrastructure are being constantly expanded.
