INTRODUCTIONArthritis owes it's origin to the very beginning of evolution which started changing it's forms with the advent and progress of human civilization. Several studies and researches have been carried out regarding the diagnosis, management and treatment but till date we have not been in a position to find even a single unique system which helps the patients.It is basically-the root of arthritis, its presentations that now more emphasis is being given to the alternative system of medicines rather only the orthodox system of medicine Oh! "Take a pain killer and do the exercise "No" definitely "No" being a responsible social citizen of society, we as medical practitioners should always guide the patients regarding the illness, it's management, corhplications, possibility of cure and necessary precautions.Arthritis is a crippling disease, which if not taken care can completely cripple human life.Therefore it is the moral duty of each practitioner whether practising any system of medicine to make the society aware of the practical implications of arthritis. Keeping in mind all these practical aspects I have taken arthritis as the subject of presentation with all possible ways of helping a patient. At certain stage, we must truly recognize that at every step our aim is just not to cure but manage and treat also. We must study the subject with an open mind keeping in view the advantages and disadvantages of the available therapeutic kits.
