It was in 1988 that 1 personally met Sai Baba. Joy and Divine Love literally radiated from Him as He passed me during darshan. I felt such bliss to be alive while God walked the earth. The passing years of my spiritual journey consisted of traveling every year to India to witness Sai Baba's life as a service to the upliftment of humankind. It was during this journey that I became aware of the life around me, as though a veil of fog was lifted from my eyes. The whole world became transparent, somehow deeply magnified an extraordinary enlargement of my consciousness. I could see clearly for miles and everything glittered transparently. I saw that the grass was greener, fruits tasted sweeter, the fragrance of flowers was more enchanting. The sky was a deeper blue, the sun shined a loving warmth, the air breathed pure and clean. I recognised humán beings as the children of God, engrossed and wrapped in this physical, dream world. In this sacred experience, everything became radiant, everything sparkled a brilliant rainbow hue - and I realised earth and heaven were rejoicing, because the Lord walked the planet. God has assumed humán form, so that we can see him, hear him, touch him and love him. God has come to announce to us the truth, that is Divine love, God is Sri Sathya Sai Baba. What a wonderful realisation, and what an exhilarating feeling of Divine love. Such bliss and peace to be alive at this time. What joy to experience the Divine unconditional love that is in everyone. By a touch, word or even a glancé, Sathya Sai Baba can awaken the God awareness, within devotees who are in tune with Him.
